At Sumac Maritime, we don’t make wine.

Since 2006, our winery has been dedicated to a unique form of creation: submerging bottles in the depths of the sea, where time and the marine environment transform the wine into something unrepeatable.
Each bottle is hand-sealed with an ocean-resistant sealing wax and individually engraved by the sea. It is then precisely placed in cages designed to protect and respect its evolution during its underwater aging.
Periodically, divers inspect the condition of the cages and the surrounding environment. Upon completion of their process, the bottles emerge from the seabed covered in life and mystery—bearing the marks of the ocean on their skin.
What we offer is not just wine.
